Our Story
We started life as joiners in 2007 after completing Level 1, 2 & 3 NVQ Carpentry and Joinery.
Why the Name Arris?
The name Arris comes from a traditional joinery term. An arris is where two surfaces meet to create a sharp corner. In climbing, this is known as an arete.
It reflects the company's roots in craftsmanship and precision, values that continue to shape every project we undertake today.
Expanding Our Services
As we progressed from all forms of joinery work, including first fix, roofing and kitchen installations, we expanded into electrics, gas and renewable technologies.
This made us far more versatile and allowed us to complete larger projects without needing to outsource work to other contractors.
Looking Ahead
In 2026 we introduced Air Conditioning after completing our F Gas registration.
We are already MCS registered for Solar, Battery Storage, Electric Vehicle Chargers and Air Source Heat Pumps.
Because we already specialise in heat pump technology, adding air conditioning was a natural progression, as both systems share many of the same engineering principles.
